1. Agreement and eligibility

By installing, accessing, or purchasing Otoha Meet, you agree to these terms and the incorporated Privacy Notice, Subscription & Refund Policy, and Recording & AI Disclosure. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to do so.

You must be legally able to enter this agreement and meet any minimum age required in your country. Keep your account and devices secure and notify us of suspected unauthorized use.

2. License and acceptable use

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app and service under your plan. Personal plans do not include resale, shared team capacity, a public API, automated batch processing, or operation as a surveillance service.

You may not violate law or another person's rights, bypass usage or security controls, disrupt the service, reverse engineer except where law permits, provide malicious content, or use output to make an unlawful or solely automated high-impact decision.

3. Recordings and your content

You decide what Otoha Meet captures. You are responsible for having a lawful basis, providing required notice, obtaining required consent, and following workplace, school, platform, confidentiality, and local recording rules. The absence of a meeting bot does not remove these duties.

You retain rights in content you submit or create. You give us and our providers only the permissions reasonably necessary to process that content for the features you request, operate and secure the service, and meet legal obligations.

4. Transcripts and AI output

Speech recognition, translation, speaker labels, interpretation, suggested answers, summaries, and follow-up responses can be incomplete or wrong. Review important output against the source and use your own judgment.

Otoha Meet is not legal, medical, financial, hiring, immigration, or other professional advice. Do not rely on it as the sole basis for a high-impact decision about another person.

5. Plans, third parties, and service changes

Free features and paid Cloud allowances are described on the Pricing page. Paid plans are governed by the Subscription & Refund Policy. We may adjust, discontinue, or replace features to maintain security, legality, quality, or provider compatibility, while honoring applicable consumer law.

Apple, Stripe, speech, AI, meeting, and operating-system services have their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control, but this does not limit rights that cannot legally be excluded.

6. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Otoha Meet at any time. Canceling a subscription and deleting the app are separate actions. We may restrict or end access for serious or repeated violations, security threats, nonpayment, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the service, with notice where reasonably possible.

7. Warranties and liability

The service is provided with reasonable care but may experience errors, downtime, or provider limitations. To the extent law permits, it is provided without implied warranties beyond those stated here, and neither party is liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot be excluded, including applicable consumer guarantees, fraud, willful misconduct, or other mandatory rights. Mandatory rights in your jurisdiction prevail over any conflicting limitation in these terms.

8. Governing law, disputes, and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available in their country of residence. Contact us first so we can try to resolve a dispute. Courts and alternative dispute mechanisms remain available where required by law.

We may update these terms with reasonable notice for material changes. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means the updated terms apply, except where affirmative consent is required.
